My name is D'Mya Harris and I am one of the 3-6 diverse learner teachers here at Shoesmith. I am from Detroit, MI and I graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A in elementary education and learning disabilities. I completed my teaching internship at a Chicago Public School and I am excited to continue my teaching career here at Shoesmith Elementary for the second year! I am also excited to get involved with the school community including other teachers, students, and parents! As a team we will learn and grow beyond measure and I look forward to continue our journey together!
